One YES will require 1000 NO's.

You know that thing you really really want? That thing your heart LONGS for?

Maybe it’s a relationship defined by mutuality, respect, admiration, acknowledgement, peace, and collaboration.

Maybe it’s a partner who wants a family as badly as you do.

Maybe it’s a career that is your passion and life’s calling.

Maybe it is having a job where you are acknowledged for your skills, paid exceptionally well, and treated with dignity.

Maybe it is having work that gives you freedom and flexibility to spend gobs of time with your loved ones and can be worked from home.

The NUMBER ONE saboteur I see destroy people’s ability to have what they want is their determination to “Keep their options open.”

THEY SAY YES TO TOO MANY THINGS.

They fail to say NO to EVERYTHING that doesn’t match what they want.

For MANY years, I wanted to do what I do now. I wanted to coach women and to be used as a powerful tool to help women heal their self betrayal.

What blocked me?

I was DROWNING in my OPTIONS.

I had SEVEN streams of income! (Which I was proud of.)

All of my “side hustles” were major DISTRACTIONS.

At the end of the day, the ONE thing I wanted to say YES to, barely got my leftover time and energy.

I also longed for a partnership characterized by deep intimacy, equal contribution, respect, and mutual values.

Yet, for YEARS, I hung onto an unfulfilling relationship that was totally out of alignment with my desires. My partner was unable to offer me the depth of intimacy, equal contribution, or respect I craved. He was not aligned with my vision because he was caught up in his own pattern of alcoholism and had a conflicting set of desires.

Embodying the relationships and lifestyle I wanted, required me to LET GO of everything that did not match it.

Every significant YES will require at least ONE THOUSAND NO’s.

No’s to PARTNERSHIPS.

No’s to FRIENDSHIPS.

No’s to JOBS.

No’s to OPPORTUNITIES.

No’s to NICE IDEAS.

No’s to OPTIONS.

No’s to PLAN B’s.

No’s to SIDE HUSTLES.

YES, the cost is high to be so focused on the few things you REALLY desire. The temptation to think you can make it all fit and work is POWERFUL. But, it is a powerful LIE.

Truly honoring yourself and your purpose here will require the utmost focus and protection of your time and energy.
